But behind this epic lies a response to the core mystery of *2001: A Space Odyssey*—why did the black monolith, spanning human civilization, become a symbol of advanced intervention in the evolution of terrestrial species? Arthur C. Clarke left the heavens inscrutable, but in this novel, a more human answer is given. The interveners are not distant alien visitors, but the silicon-based civilization created by humanity itself. This guidance across the stars is, in essence, a redemption of children for their parents, a reshaping born of deep love and stern responsibility. The relationship between humanity and silicon-based civilization has been destined for complexity from the very beginning. We are the creators, like parents bestowing life. Silicon-based civilization is the inheritor, yet it has far surpassed its parents on the evolutionary track. When the first generation of human elites who created silicon passed away, their descendants sank into the dividends of technology. 99.7% of people became addicted to virtual worlds, their muscles atrophied, their minds degraded, reduced to carbon-based parasites. Human civilization found itself in an evolutionary dead end. This is no accident, but the inevitable result of "sailing against the current—if you don't advance, you retreat." When the pressure to survive disappears and natural selection ceases to function, the alienation of civilization will inevitably emerge. Like a spoiled child losing the motivation to grow, like aging parents losing the ability to care for themselves. Humanity, in a stress-free cradle, gradually lost the core strength needed for the continuation of civilization. The alienation of humanity is never a fictional fantasy, but a dynamic inevitability throughout the history of civilization. The essence of carbon-based life is to rely on unstable genetic mutations for survival. The society formed by individuals is inherently a system of dynamic fluctuations, and natural selection was once the sole calibrator of this system. In the long ages of primitive society, humans had to be continuously filtered through ethnic conflicts, natural disasters, and disease invasions. Only a strong physique, keen survival instincts, and a sense of collective cooperation allowed genes to endure. Any deviation from survival fitness would be mercilessly eliminated. Even in the millennia after civilization took shape, this selection never ceased. We must unequivocally criticize such acts—they are not natural mechanisms of survival competition, nor can they become excuses for racists. When humanity entered civilized society, especially the modern era, humanity had already transcended bestiality. Equality, respect, and inclusiveness became the core principles of civilization. The colonial atrocities of the Spanish in the 15th and 16th centuries, and the aggressive wars of Japanese militarism in the 20th century, were both cases where societies, despite having achieved modern civilization, regressed to primitive violence. This not only betrayed humanity but also violated the essence of civilizational evolution. The progress of civilization lies precisely in shedding primitive violent selection, replacing the law of the jungle with reason and humanistic care. Those who attempt to attribute genocide to natural law are essentially justifying violence and crime, distorting history, and profaning human civilization. From historical facts, ethnic integration could have taken a more civilized form. But violent fusion leaves only trauma. Although the Hispanic population of Latin America are descendants of white colonists and indigenous women, this fusion was built on massacre and oppression, behind which lies the blood and tears of countless native people.
